Scientists Create AI-Powered Device for Detecting Cancer in Minutes with Only a Drop of Blood

 

A novel examination powered by cutting-edge technology has surfaced, presenting the potential for rapid and precise detection of three prevalent illnesses using only a minute quantity of dried blood.

In initial trials, this examination showcased its ability to distinguish individuals afflicted with pancreatic, gastric, or colorectal ailments from those without, all within a brief span of minutes. Scientists noted that the examination achieved a success rate ranging from approximately 82% to 100% in identifying illness by scrutinizing specific chemicals within the blood.

This examination operates by employing a form of artificial intelligence termed machine learning. It scrutinizes certain substances known as metabolites in the blood, which emerge during the body's digestive processes.
