"Pakistan's Freelancers Set to Contribute $10 Billion in Tech Exports"
Pakistan’s Interim Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication, Dr. Umar Saif, is spearheading an ambitious initiative aimed at significantly boosting the country's technology-related service exports.
The objective is to achieve a yearly revenue target of $10 billion by empowering one million freelancers to earn an approximate daily income of $30. Within the next two to three months, the government plans to extend support by providing financial assistance and establishing shared working spaces.

Additionally, Pakistan is currently in active negotiations with PayPal to simplify the process of receiving payments for provided services. All the while, plans are in progress to implement 5G innovation within an expected eight-month time period.
Presently, Pakistan's technology sector generates around $2.5 billion annually from the sale of services to other countries. The government is taking proactive measures to significantly escalate this figure. Dr. Saif emphasizes the critical role of securing investment funding and establishing collaborative workspaces within private enterprises to ensure the success of this expansive strategy. Success in this endeavor has the potential to notably enhance Pakistan's economy.
