PTA Takes Action against Unlawful Internet Services Suppliers in Sargodha

  



Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) within its nonstop endeavors to wipe out the widespread expansion of unlawful internet providers directed two effective attacks in Sargodha in a joint effort with Federal Investigation Agency (FIA).

The first raid occurred in RB Block, Rose Valley Society, while the second was directed at Burj-e-Umar Court, Mian Khan Road. One individual was captured. Moreover, different hardware of unlawful ISPs, including switches, routers, PCs, and radio wires, were seized. etc. These entities were giving ISP providers without a substantial permit from PTA in Sargodha and encompassing regions.

In a statement, PTA said that the effective strikes against unlawful ISPs were made conceivable as a result of ceaseless observing, responsibility, and relentless endeavors to control the threat of unlawful internet providers, hence reducing the misfortune to the public exchequer concerning tax avoidance and distorting of incomes.

The statement cautioned general society to profit from telecom services from only PTA-authorized services to avoid abrupt cessation of services.
