Meta unveils video editing tools powered by artificial intelligence.
Meta Platforms, the parent company overseeing Instagram and Facebook, has unveiled two novel AI-driven functionalities for video editing. The initial one, Emu Video, crafts concise four-second videos prompted by captions, photos, or images.
The second tool, Emu Edit, streamlines video editing through text prompts. These additions build upon the pre-existing Emu model, which generates images based on textual cues.
This strategic move by Meta aligns with its continuous commitment to harnessing AI technologies, positioning itself competitively alongside tech giants such as Microsoft, Google, and Amazon in the realm of artificial intelligence. The introduced features are designed to elevate user experiences when sharing videos on Meta's social media platforms.
