Lenovo made a grand entrance at the MWC 2024 Barcelona event with the introduction of Project Crystal, which they assert is the world's inaugural laptop featuring a micro-LED screen. While Project Crystal is presently only a concept and not yet available for purchase, its unveiling remains captivating due to its demonstration of cutting-edge technology.

Behind this groundbreaking laptop is the proficient team at Lenovo's ThinkPad division, integrating a micro-LED display and harnessing artificial intelligence (AI) to create a transparent screen.

This functionality presents a multitude of potential applications. For instance, users have the option to flip the display, allowing individuals on the opposite side to view its contents. Lenovo also envisions its utility in various augmented reality (AR) scenarios, including object recognition and overlaying diagrams to aid in troubleshooting.
